BACKYARD
transformation
In this backyard, we built a new 6’ redwood board on board fence with 2’ super privacy lattice. We installed a new concrete patio for outdoor living. Prior to pouring the concrete, we prepped for drainage, a drip system and electrical for outdoor lighting. Lastly we built 3 redwood custom pergolas for shade.
guest bathroom
REMODEL
This bathroom was a complete demo. We installed a new steel tub, waterproofed the walls for tile and installed tile on the wall and floor. We installed new plumbing including a new hand-held shower-head with diverter. We installed new electrical and exhaust fan and finished it with a new toilet and vanity. We finished up with new primer and paint.
exterior siding
REFRESH
We removed 1 existing window and added a new 6’ sliding door that led from the master bedroom to the backyard. We added a window in the kitchen (in between the 2 sliders), and replaced the old 6’ slider with a brand-new dual pain sliding door. We installed French drains for water drainage around the perimeter of the house and formed and poured 8 yards of concrete to create 2 backyard patios and concrete steps.
master bathroom
REMODEL
For this master bathroom, we updated the existing walk in shower with a shower bench. We repaired all dry rot damage and framing. We added new plumbing, new LED lighting, exhaust fan, flooring, tile, toilet, and vanity and finished up with new primer and paint.
exterior siding
REFRESH
Prior to re-siding the south side of this house, we found a lot of dry rot around the windows and trim, and on the siding from sun and water exposure. Most of the damage with siding is usually found on the south sides of the buildings (the faces exposed to maximum sun, wind, and rain) and/or areas with other difficult conditions. For this project, we removed all siding and trim on the south side of the house, repaired and replaced all dry rot on and around the chimney (including some of the sub floor,) installed 2 new sliding glass doors, installed Tyvek house wrap, installed new T1-11 siding and 2x6 trim, and concluded by prepping for paint.
kitchen + entryway
REDESIGN
The original kitchen was an outdated 1970s style with laminated face cabinets and tile floor that was installed by a previous house-flipper. During the remodel process we opened the entry wall to create a more open concept.
Half of the cabinets are original which were re-faced by the owner with new doors and drawers and we installed new cabinets in the other half of the kitchen. Prior to the remodel, we discovered that the dishwasher was leaking which caused mold on half of the cabinets and the floor. We installed 6x24 Wood Plank Tile in the kitchen and the dining room, installed quartz counter tops and a herringbone pattern back splash. The old appliances were replaced with stainless steel appliances and a new farm-style sink was added to finish the project.
RV PARKING
second driveway + gate
For this project we began with the excavation of an already existing gravel driveway. We then built and installed forms, tied rebar, and poured 9 yards of six sack concrete with a broom finish. Since the clients intended to park their RV here, we installed an automatic gate that can be opened with a remote. This not only adds curb appeal to the house, but also provides privacy and security.

COMPLETE REMODEL
This project was a complete demolition and redesign of a 1960's style bathroom. In place of the old bathtub/shower combo we framed for a 5'x 5' walk-in shower and installed dual shower heads along with a hand-held shower head. As a unique design feature we installed 3x6 subway tile in two different patterns and followed that up by relocating the toilet and expanding the water closet. The original 1960's style vanity and sinks were removed, and in place we installed a modern wooden vanity, square under mount sinks, and a gray quartz countertop.
KITCHEN REMODEL
demolition + expansion + redesign
This was a complete gut of a 1990's kitchen that was out-dated and needed a modern look. We began the process by designing a new kitchen layout using a CAD program. The project began by carefully removing over 300 sq. feet of hardwood floor which would be re-installed in the finished kitchen.
We demoed the kitchen completely including an existing 16 foot wall that separated the kitchen, dining room, and living room which created an open concept that was desired by the home-owner. We dry-walled and re-textured the entire space, re-located electrical and installed 13 recessed lights, installed a 3/4 in. gas line for a gas stove that was previously electric, and removed a window to gain wall space for more cabinets. We installed custom cabinets, quartz counter-tops, brand new stainless steel Bosch appliances, installed a 3x6 white tile back splash in a subway pattern and to finish the project, we re-installed the hardwood floor.
reclaimed fence wood
FEATURE WALL
For this project we use reclaimed 1x8 fence boards that we pressure-washed, sanded, milled to desired size and installed in a staggered pattern. This is a unique and interesting way to highlight an accent wall as an alternative to painting the wall a different color.
FIREPLACE MANTLE
update
This project included the removal of the existing brick and framed mantle post followed by the installation of finish trim and detail, which was then primed and painted. Finally, the tile was installed.

WINDOW TO DOOR AND DECK
For this project, we installed a door with a deck in place of an existing window. We removed the window, built a frame for the door, installed the door with mini blinds, and built a redwood deck with steps.
BACKYARD
deck with railing
This project started with prepping the area where the deck was going to be built. We graded the dirt so the water would run away from the house, and added a french drain to keep water away from the foundation. We then placed thick weed barrier, doubling up on it to prevent weeds from coming through the deck in years to come. After, we poured concrete footers and began the framing of the 21 x 21 foot deck. All framing material was pressure treated to ensure longevity. To give the deck a unique look, we bordered it, and then built the deck with Con Heart Redwood. To finish, we installed the hand rails we applied a clear water sealer to protect the deck and give it long lasting protection.
